Intermediate steel band chart, great for introducing flat notes. Most rhythms are in unison throughout the full band, except one section where the Lead 1 part plays repeating 8th note arpeggios. There are only a few sections to learn, making it easy to teach in a short period of time. This tune is based on four chords, which occur with different rhythmic patterns in each section. This tune has a complex drumset part, so a relatively strong player is a must. Closing includes a wide range of dynamics to help the ensemble work on touch, as well as full-band stops that appear unexpectedly within its tasty rhythmic groove.
